Privacy Policy
Effective November 3, 2026
1. Data controllers
The information entered in the booking engine on the website of an accommodation, a car rental company or an activity provider (the “Provider”) belongs to the Provider, who is the data controller. InterPatagoniaWeb, operated by INTERWA S.A.U., tax ID (CUIT) 30-70871990-7, registered at Teniente Coronel Pérez 830, piso 1, oficina 5, San Martín de los Andes (8370), Neuquén, Argentina, processes it on behalf of the Provider in order to provide the booking service. Contact: administracion@interpatagonia.com.
2. What we collect
- Contact: full name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number.
- Booking: dates, number of guests, the unit, category or activity chosen, extras, amounts and, for car rentals, pick-up and drop-off places and times.
- Comments the person chooses to add.
- Technical data: IP address and the date and time the request was sent, to prevent abuse.
- Payments: if paying online, the Mercado Pago payment number and status. Card numbers and security codes are never stored.
3. How it is used
- To handle the request or booking and notify the Provider.
- To contact the person by email or WhatsApp about their booking (confirmation, changes, reminders and, afterwards, a request for feedback on the service).
- To prevent fraud, spam and misuse.
- To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
InterPatagoniaWeb does not sell this information, does not share it for commercial purposes and does not use it to send advertising.
4. Who it is shared with
- The Provider receiving the booking.
- The suppliers that make the service possible: the server where the platform runs (in Argentina), Google (backups), Meta (WhatsApp messages) and Mercado Pago (for online payments).
- Authorities, when required by law or court order.
Some of these suppliers store information on servers outside Argentina; in those cases the transfer is made only to provide the service.
5. Cookies and analytics
The booking engine does not use advertising cookies. The Provider’s website may use Google analytics or advertising tools (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads) set up by the Provider, which use their own cookies; the engine only tells those tools that a request was sent and its amount, never the name, email or phone number.
6. How long it is kept
While the Provider’s account is active and, afterwards, for the periods required by tax, accounting and guest-registration rules. Backups are rotated and deleted within up to three months.
7. Your rights
Anyone may request access to, correction, update or deletion of their data (Argentine Personal Data Protection Law 25,326) by writing to the Provider or to administracion@interpatagonia.com with a copy of their ID. Access is free of charge at intervals of no less than six months; access requests are answered within 10 calendar days, and correction, update or deletion requests within 5 business days.
The Agency for Access to Public Information (Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública), as the supervisory authority under Law 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims from anyone whose rights are affected by non-compliance with personal data protection rules.
8. Security
Data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) and is only accessed by the Provider and by the InterPatagoniaWeb staff who need it to provide support.
9. Minors
Bookings must be made by a person aged 18 or over, who may enter the details of minors travelling with them.
10. Changes
This Policy may be updated; the version in force is the one published on this page. See also the Terms of Service.
