Rental terms and conditions
Driver requirements
- The main driver and any additional driver must be over 25.
- At pick-up: valid ID card or passport and a valid driving licence.
Mileage and drivers
- All our vehicles include unlimited mileage.
- The rental includes authorisation for two drivers.
- Drivers not registered on the contract are not covered by the insurance.
Deposit
- A credit card in the name of the booking holder is required. The deposit amount is temporarily blocked on the card.
- Minor damage means scratches up to 10 cm and small stone chips.
Insurance
- Included: SOAP (mandatory insurance) and minor damage cover.
- Optional full coverage: covers damage below the deposit amount, including tyres and windscreen. For major damage, your liability is capped at the deposit amount.
Vehicle use
- Personal use only. Racing, carrying hazardous substances and dirt roads are not allowed without prior authorisation.
- Fines and tolls are charged to the customer's card, plus a handling fee of CLP 5,000 per event.
- Interior damage is not covered by the insurance.
Fuel and return
- The vehicle is delivered with a full tank and must be returned full; otherwise refuelling is charged.
- No refund for early return.
- There is a 60-minute grace period; after that, each extra hour is charged.
Cancellation
- Free of charge up to 72 hours before pick-up.
- With shorter notice, the equivalent of one rental day is charged.
